The European Citizens’ Initiative is a process that encourages European citizens to engage in politics and raise their voices towards policies they want to see implemented by the European Union. If the proposed initiative collects 1 million signatures from EU citizens, the European Commission is invited to propose to EU legislators (Council of Ministers and European Parliament) a text based on our proposal.
