There are already research funds from the EU for Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS). We need to remove Carbon from the atmosphere to implement the Paris targets. Some approaches are already available like biochar, algae growing, etc. but all need to be applied in giantic scales (or need to become that popular that they sum up significantly).
