Things disappear, the world is changing. It always did, but our world looks somewhat similar to thousand years ago. We are about to change nature, habitability and even geography for millennia to come. So what to show our kids before it’s gone? Post here.
Glaciers. I am Austrian and the glaciers retreat since long and very soon they will be gone in the Alps for good. (0% probability they stay unless the gulf stream stops or something drastic like this. Well in that case it is useful to know something about glaciers too)
Coral reefs. The corals have a lifespan of hundreds, sometime thousand of years. Now their survivability expectation is down to 5% and most are already damaged or gone.
